Loved this restaurant. We sat in their outdoor patio which had a beautiful ambiance. It was quite a chilly evening, but they had so many heaters, we were very comfortable. We ordered the trout and it was the most delicious ever. Cooked perfectly - the tender meat just fell off the bone. The drinks were amazing as well. Highly recommend!!
Phenomenal! Every dish provided a blend of natural ingredients with flavors that excited the palate. I never knew that broccoli could taste so amazing. The slightest char along with hummus and jelly was exquisite. The pea salad with pecans added a blend of sweetness along with the goat cheese. Lastly, the field pea perloo with snap peas and mushrooms on a bed of rice was a great pairing. Mushrooms harvested from the morning I would say, made its way to a great main entree. Lovely and quaint restaurant. Yes, they have a wonderful covered patio for your four-legged best friend to attend.
I always love going to Jargon! The food is thoughtfully curated. The hollow ice ball full of alcohol was a fun surprise. The full-size trout was delicious. Sun/Mon/Tues between 5:00 - 6:00 is 20% off on food. The Mother's Day flower gift was classy. A great value.
The Pea Salad and Duck with gnocchi was SO GOOD! All the staff seemed vested in ensuring that you enjoyed your visit and meal. Highly recommend!!
A truly amazing experience. The owner greeted us cordially and the servers were friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, especially the clams and trout. Even though the dining room was packed with patrons, the atmosphere was cozy with jazz music playing in the background. Just make sure that you have plenty of time in hand. It will not be a quick dinner. Highly recommended for visitors and couples.
Seasonal and awesome dishes! All the food we had was fantastic, but I specifically loved the Snow Pea Salad and the Carrot Cake. Incredibly tasty!! The staff here is also super professional, polite, and treated us well. They knew it was our Anniversary so they left us a Happy Anniversary note at the table as well. Little touches go a long way. Thanks for a wonderful meal for our Anniversary!!
This place (Jargon) is an experience! Owner and Staff were friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable about their dishes. A really inviting vibe with an eclectic atmosphere. Food was stupendous! This is definitely on our list to visit again!
Request to sit at the Chef's Table where you can watch them cook. It's so fun and they are kind enough to answer questions when there's a little lull. The clams in creamy roasted garlic and parsnip broth were incredible!! Great pairing with my Herbie Hancock cocktail. The duck breast had a great sear on the skin side. We saved room for two desserts (hello, vacation!): a moist chocolate cake with sage ice cream that was wild! Cherry coke compote tied it all together. The orange creamsickle panna cotta was velvety smooth and a great balance between sweet and citrusy. An incredible meal!
